Car hits motorcyclist

A newly licensed driver made a left hand turn in front of a motorcycle, resulting in a crash which threw the motorcyclist from his bike.

One of the more common scenarios which results in serious injuries to the motorcyclist is when a car either turn left in front of a biker or pulls in front of the biker from a side street or parking lot. These are dangerous accidents from any kind of driver, but are especially dangerous for motorcyclists because of the significant likelihood that they will be thrown from their bikes.
